Dinner in the making:  Southwestern Brisket and Red Cabbage Slaw

A peek at what I have percolating in the kitchen.  Check later where I will share the link to the recipe, along with the story of what inspired this meal.  I’ll also pay tribute to my crockpot that died (RIP), and how I relied on that old tried and true Dutch oven to step in and save the day.  This will be a “long” 8 hours until that brisket is just right to fork shred and load up on some GF buns.  Oh, I can’t wait!
