Well we are stepping into lamb territory today. It is without question that Ina Garten is my favorite chef, and one day I happened to see an episode where she was preparing a wonderful French dish for her friend from Paris who happened to be visiting, which consisted of lamb. I must admit, I am not a huge fan of lamb, but I was literally swooning as I saw her take spoons and dig into that beautiful leg of lamb and reduce it to tender, succulent shreds on top of a platter of creamy white French beans. I said to myself, I’ve got to someday try that, and today just happens to be that day.
Sundays are perfect for introducing a new dish to the palate. It sets the tone for a deliciously memorable week as my family and I reminisce over that Parisian meal we just so happened to share at our own table. Get out the French table cloths, because we are going there! Bon jour!
