Braised Chuck Roast, Turnip Greens, and Candied Yams

21 Oct

Our Sunday’s best.  Braised Chuck roast with vegetables, turnip greens, candied yams, and cornbread, all done gluten free.  This meal screams soul food and is homage to Sunday dinner at grandma’s house.  I did sneak in a homemade banana pudding from scratch, but we won’t show it as the nilla wafers are not gluten free.  Hey…I’m only human…Lol!

Looking for my recipe for ”Braised Chuck Roast (gluten free)?”  Just go to the homepage and click on hyperlink titled as above.  You can also find my recipe for ”Vegetarian Greens” as well.  But until then, go ahead and sink your fork in this…

Yummy!! What wonderful memories this brings back. My family have personally made an art of eating out on Sundays until it has become difficult for me to invision what to prepare for Sunday dinner. Thanks to your blog and the visual of the goodness…guess what’s going down in my kitchen next Sunday??!!

Yay!!! So happy to hear that. I know it will be equally as delicious. There is absolutely nothing more satisfying than coming home from church, kicking off your shoes, and enjoying a Sunday meal at home. What a perfect way to bring the family together and create soulful memories. I love it!
