Baked apples (gluten free)

Look at those beauties.  When they just begin to crack, you know they are ready. I took gala apples and stuffed them with goodies like raisins, brown sugar, butter, cinnamon,  nutmeg, and ginger.  Then I drizzled with a little maple syrup and then took it up a notch with a drizzle of hazelnut oil.  Baked in a bath of apple juice, it bakes down into a beautiful spiced glaze.  And yes, they were as delicious as they look…
